Zebulon Regional Sports Complex

The Board of Douglas County Commissioners voted unanimously to partner in the development of the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex. Located in Northwest Douglas County, this dynamic development will deliver a range of athletic facilities to meet the recreational sports needs of the County’s residents.

Envisioned as a catalyst, the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex will transform what was formerly an industrial area into a regional hub for families and businesses. Building the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex within Sterling Ranch will also preserve more than 400 acres of open space in the area. Phase 1 of the project includes a 239,000-square-foot indoor sports complex featuring three ice rinks, basketball courts, and impact sports facilities, along with an outdoor soccer complex and baseball complex.
