Urban Cottages Rezoning approval

In February, Aurora City Council approved the rezoning of this 4-acre infill site from rural residential to Medium Density Residential (R2), unlocking the ability to bring 30 paired home units to the site. The site plan has also since been approved, marking another significant step forward.

This project reflects Urban Cottages’ mission to transform underutilized land into thoughtfully designed, attainable housing. By introducing “missing middle” housing in a well-connected area, the development will expand attainable living options while creating opportunities within walking distance of existing restaurants, services, and community amenities.

With approvals in place, the project is now advancing into construction documentation as the vision continues to take shape!
