Palisade Park Pocket Parks

Palisade Park North and West are two neighborhoods located in Broomfield, Colorado. The community design is focused around two pocket parks, centrally located, within each neighborhood. These pocket parks feature a picnic shelter with tables, benches, age-appropriate playgrounds, and passive turf fields for larger events or games. Extensive landscaping helps soften the hard edges of the gathering areas and lends to the unique and modern design of each park. The goal of focusing neighborhoods around parks is to provide opportunities for residents to share in the outdoors together and connect with one another in an easily accessible space. Additionally, an extensive trail network with various seating areas and an exercise circuit surrounds each neighborhood and serves as a connector between the two communities.
