The Academy Mapleton Hill is a world-class, continuum care facility hosting independent and assisted living, rehabilitation therapy, and memory care. Located at the center of the most desirable neighborhood in Boulder, on a 14-acre sloped site sitting at the base of Mount Sanitas, Academy Mapleton Hill provides effortless senior living in a breathtaking setting.

In the overall design of Academy on Mapleton Hill our team took a naturalistic approach, integrating the built environment into the natural landforms of the site and applying biophilic design patterns—flexible and replicable strategies—that reconnect people with nature and enhance their everyday experience. Amenities include a therapy pool, centrally located Village Green, and extensive landscaped grounds for walking, gardening, relaxing, and interacting with guests and fellow residents. The site plan and associated landscape design honors the original use of the site as a sanitarium, respects the natural setting of the adjacent foothills, and aligns with the quaint, small village feel of Boulder neighborhoods.
